After the 4th day of juice fast and right after colema (colon cleansing), I experienced a partial recovery of my eyesight and my hearing as well!

"My experience of the fasting is that it’s going very fast. During the fasting my energy
goes up and down, as advised walking and keeping the body moving helps. I also
found that doing half bath helps me, when feeling tired and sleepy, to feel awake.
One thing I noticed that taking honey is not good for my skin. While doing sunbathing
it felt good and overall my meditation has improved. I’ll continue liquid fasting for a

"This is my first time to do longer fasting and especially the days when I am working it
is sometimes challenging. Definitely the coachining helped me to go through this
experience. When I was feeling hungry taking lemon water helped. When I got
headaches taking triphala and doing an enema helped as well as doing the yoga
postures. I found ‘half bath’ to be a useful practice. I’m more appreciative of food

"I enjoyed this programme, especially with the coaching. Previously I had done fasting
but it was always something I did on my own. This time I got more of a yogic
perspective on fasting and I want to incorporate some of the new things I learnt, for
example, doing fasting according to the moon calendar. This time the depth of
cleansing was more than previously and I could also meditate longer. I found it useful
to keep a daily dairy of my feelings and experiences during these fasting days. For
future programmes it would be useful to have more help in ‘Kaosiiki’ and also to
have a clear agenda for everyday. Also information could be given in advance, which
could be discussed during the coaching session. Like in a marathon I find it helpful
not to focus on the final day and goal of your fasting. Like in a marathon you focus
one mile at a time, so in fasting one may not want to fix on an end date. This is in
case one wants to make the fasting shorter or longer."
