Fresh-Start: New Year Detox

Give your body the rest it deserves.

In the hustle of modern life, our bodies accumulate stress and toxins from our food and environment. Just as your home needs regular cleaning, your internal system needs a reset to function at its best.

Join us for a transformative weekend at the serene YHA Mount Davis, where we will guide you through a safe, holistic fasting process designed to restore your natural vitality.

Why Detox?

Your body possesses an incredible natural ability to heal and renew itself. Detoxing isn’t about deprivation; it is about supporting that process.

By giving your digestive system a well-deserved break, you allow it to redirect energy toward eliminating toxins. This “internal spring cleaning” helps restore balance before minor imbalances develop into illness.

It is an essential step in preventing health complications such as:

  • High blood pressure
  • Digestive issues and inflammation
  • Skin disorders
  • Joint acidity
  • Diabetes risks

What You Will Learn

This camp is educational as well as experiential. You will leave with knowledge you can apply for a lifetime:

  • The Science of Fasting: Understanding the biological benefits.
  • Graduated fasting and—crucially—how to break a fast effectively.
  • Understanding acid-forming vs. alkalising foods.
  • Holistic Health: Vegetarianism.
  • Mind-Body Connection: Yoga asanas, mudras, and how meditation supports detoxification.

The Journey: Our Schedule

Phase 1: Preparation (Online)

Wednesday, March 4th (8:00 PM):

A mandatory online briefing to introduce the program and guide you on how to prepare your body before the camp begins.

Phase 2: The Retreat (YHA Mount Davis)

Friday, March 6th:

Arrive by 6:30 PM. We ease into the retreat with a warming soup and an introduction to the program. The night concludes with a guided meditation and a Q&A session over detoxifying tea.

Saturday, March 7th:

A full day of healing. We begin with lemon water, followed by meditation and yoga asanas. The day includes educational classes, nature walks or gentle hiking, and rest.
Nourishment: Fruit/Veggie juices for breakfast and lunch; warm pear soup for dinner.

Sunday, March 8th:

The renewal. We begin with morning meditation, followed by the “Breaking Fast” session. We will share our experiences and enjoy a specially prepared, nourishing meal to transition back to normal eating.
